About Us

Our name is our Vision…              ENGAGE

ENABLE the NEXT GENERATION to ACCELERATE the GROWTH of EVANGELISM …AND THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST.

Mission:

Use our land and buildings, dedicated to Kingdom work, and constant prayer, to bring culturally diverse believers to a closer relationship to God and prepare the next generation for the mission field.

This is our Ministry Scripture Verse:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”  Luke 4:18-19

We want to renew the faith and spiritual energy of our youth while training, mobilizing and supporting them for missions in East Asia and other unreached areas.   We will provide a place of prayer and reflection for Christian groups and individuals at the New Korea Prayer Center (A reminder for us to pray for the Gospel to reach the darkest countries in the world).
The Engage Christian Center will focus its training initially on young adults and those with a heart for missions.  We will offer programs where knowledgeable and road-tested missionaries will share their passion and experience with young people from diverse cultural backgrounds.   Ministry speakers will prepare them for life on the mission field and we will offer short term mission opportunities. We will generate spiritual fuel for these training programs with Praise and Worship in the Tom and Jewell Cunningham Memorial New Korea Prayer Center.  (See Prayer tab) This was their final home (and the location for many of their prayers for healing and Kingdom growth on this earth) before joining the Lord in Heaven.

Engage is a place of enabling, but also a place for spiritual retreat, relaxation, reflection and meditation.  Retreat facilities are offered for youth and young adults, families, individuals, churches, their staff and other Christian organizations.

4 MAJOR GOALS:

  • Provide a retreat center and training center for the network of multiple denomination churches in Texas and Oklahoma, to enable spiritual unity, share knowledge and encourage the spirit of ministry.
  • Provide a Generation-to-Generation (G2G) Mission training center for Next Generation young adults from diverse cultures, to enable discipleship and evangelism to the unreached.
  • Provide Housing for Pastor’s, Deacons, Missionaries, Ministry Staff and Temporary Housing for Missionaries on Furlough, Students at Nearby Ministries and other Christian families in need, to enable spiritual and physical rejuvenation.
  • Provide a Prayer Mountain Chapel for Engage participants and the adjoining New Korea Subdivision residents, to enable and encourage constant prayer and listening for God’s word.
